Cyclone Sand Separator FilterThe cyclone desander is a highly efficient device that uses hydraulic cyclone to achieve solid-liquid separation. Based on the original ordinary cyclone desander, our company has designed and developed the fifth generation…
Cyclone sand separator filters, also known as hydrocyclones or centrifugal filters, use centrifugal force to spin water within a cylindrical chamber, separating sand and other heavier particles from the water. The heavier sand particles are pushed against the outer walls and fall into a collection trough, while the relatively clean water flows upward and out the top of the filter. This type of filter is both efficient and simple, making it particularly suitable for pre-filtering irrigation water and industrial water from sources such as wells and rivers that contain high levels of sand.
Tangential Inlet: Dirty water containing sand and other solid impurities enters the cyclone separator through a tangential inlet.
Centrifugal Force: The incoming water is forced into a spiral motion along the cylindrical wall.
Separation: The centrifugal force generated by this rotation pushes the denser sand and solid particles toward the outer edge of the cylinder.
Collection: The separated sand and heavier particles gradually move down the sides of the cylinder and eventually accumulate in a sedimentation tank or collection chamber at the bottom.
Clean Water Outlet: The lighter, cleaner water flows upward through the center of the vortex and exits through the outlet at the top.
Irrigation: Ideal for irrigation systems using well, river, or lake water, protecting sprinklers, emitters, and other components from sand abrasion.
Industrial Processes: Used in water treatment, coal washing, and other industrial applications to remove suspended solids.
Pre-filtration: Serves as a primary filtration stage, removing large amounts of coarse material, reducing the burden on subsequent, more refined primary filters.
High Efficiency: Effectively removes sand and heavy particles from water.
Low Maintenance: Its simple design with no moving parts ensures relatively low cost and easy maintenance. 3. Non-Clogging: Compared to other filter types, it is less prone to clogging when treating water with high sediment loads.
Protection: It prevents damage and clogging of downstream equipment in irrigation and industrial systems.
