A fiber adjustable pore size filter, also known as a fiber adjustable precision filter (PCF), is a specialized filtration system that dynamically adjusts its effective pore size to filter contaminants from liquids. These filters are typically made of carbon fibers with an inverted triangular structure. By applying external force, the pore size within the filter changes, meeting varying filtration requirements and enabling precise control of filtration performance and contamination resistance.

The filtration rate is as high as 36~77m/h, and the suspended solids in the effluent can be less than 1mg/l. 80% of this product is used in the deep filtration of reclaimed water and clean water, mainly in the filtration and treatment of water such as circulating water bypass filtration, UF pretreatment, wastewater reuse, and water supply pretreatment.

This equipment can be applied to the following fields:
1. Filtration of sewage, industrial wastewater and reclaimed water;
2. Pretreatment filtration of deep treatment and membrane separation technology (UF, R/O, NF);

5. Widely used in cooling, circulating water or other industrial and civil water for drinking water, food water, power plants, steel plants, etc.
Compared with foreign copycat products, it has the following advantages:
1. Inlet suspended solids ≤50mg/l, outlet suspended solids ≤6.3 mg/l; inlet suspended solids ≤20mg/l, outlet suspended solids ≤3.1mg/l
2. According to my country's water quality, the container volume is increased to ensure the water output and the suspended solids and colloids attached to the fiber during backwashing.
3. The fiber filter material uses pure imported modified nomex aramid, PP fiber, and modified PP fiber from the United States. It has better chemical resistance and physical properties, especially anti-oil.
4. In the same container, different filter units can automatically backwash at irregular intervals according to their own conditions.
Dynamic Pore Size Adjustment: Unlike conventional fixed-pore size filters, this filter's structure allows external forces to cause the fibers to contract or expand. Increasing pressure on the carbon fibers shrinks the pore size; reducing pressure expands the pore size.
Contaminant Control: The pore size can be adjusted from a wide range (e.g., 2µm) to a narrow range (e.g., 1µm), effectively removing particles and contaminants of varying sizes.
Cleaning and Regeneration: When the filter becomes contaminated, specific electrocleaning strategies can be employed to restore its performance. This strategy helps remove accumulated contaminants, restoring optimal water flux and filtration efficiency.
Wastewater Treatment: It effectively treats industrial wastewater, sewage, and recycled water, reducing suspended solids to below 1 mg/L.
Pretreatment: This filter can be used as a pretreatment step in advanced separation processes such as ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO), providing clean water prior to these sensitive processes.
Circulating Water Systems: It is used in cooling and circulating water systems in industrial plants, as well as in water purification for facilities such as swimming pools and aquariums.
Industrial Water Supply: This filter ensures high-quality filtration of industrial and residential water, including drinking water and process water in power plants and steel mills.
